I was looking for an alarm clock and an ipod speaker stand - saw this and thought I'd combine the two!

The unit works straight out the box and set up is a doddle, the speaker is on a scale of 1 (soft) - 40 (mental) and the system is a nice piano black with a nice and bright face (4 settings) that can be turned off or light up the room bright.

It has 2 alarms so you can set one for you and one for someone else, and you can wake to the radio/buzzer/ipod. If you want to wake up to the ipod you must leave it plugged in - in play mode. It will also charge your ipod whilst it is docked.

Lots of features but no punch on sound even w/ 'Bass Booster' equalizer on iPod.

Sound lacks decent punch but that's only to be expected for the size and price.

Unbearable to listen on/above 25 vol. (max is 40!).

It kept us awake all night w/ interference (loud) noises every now and then.
An irritating buzz , like morse code.

After 2-3 days it is unbearable to listen to a cheap & plasticky sound.

So too expensive for what delivers. (which isn't much).

With all the lovely weather we are having i was getting frustrated with no music outside! Would have loved to go for the Bose system but had to settle for the next best thing! Great value for money, no complaints as of yet!

Very good looking machine,but have returned two of them.First one the doors opened jittery and the second one the amp packed up after 2 weeks.So its back to a main brand.Sorry iLUV.

Although this item is shown by Amazon as being bundled with an ipod Touch it does not have an insert for a Touch in the holder, the Touch therefore does not sit snuggly in the holder and could rattle/get damaged, additionally the home button is slightly obscured by the holder.
Shame it is being sold bundled with a Touch (which promoted me to buy it) as iLuv on the packaging do not list it as compatible with a Touch!

Please note:I have rated the item as a review with an ipod Touch and make no comment about it's abilities with other ipods!
