This is a very neat little pair of speakers in one package. This is a great shame, because the product neither charges let alone syncs an iPod, as decribed, both on the product page here, and on the packaging itself. The USB cable supplied is simply a power connection, and could not carry data.
Amazon, pay attention here please, this invites a Trading Standards case.
However, as the sound quality and styling of the product exceeds what one might expect for the price, it would be picky to complain further.

Mountrader ikit home & Travel kit for ipod

When I received this item, I plugged my Ipod Nano Video 8GB (3rd Generation) device to the charger and to the mains power supply. Heard buzzing sound coming from the charger head but no charge displayed on the Ipod. Feeling a bit worried, I unplugged it from the mains after a couple of minutes and then tried to switch on the Ipod. It wouldn't switch on. I pressed all buttons but it still wouldn't respond. Last resort was to attempt a reset on the Ipod and luckily it came back on. Not sure if this charger is compatible with the 3rd generation Ipod Nano even though the packaging says it works for all Ipods with dock connectors. Does anyone have any luck with this charger on the Ipod Nano 3G? I am a bit reluctant to try charging my Ipod ... Read More:
