I picked these up when perusing earphones at John Lewis. They're a bit more expensive there, but I needed some quickly.
The sound is quite clean and there is little in the way of distortion. The ranges are covered quite well although the bass isn't as refined as I'd like (I'm a bassist).
In terms of hardware design, these aren't the flashiest and the plastic may look cheap. Don't let that fool you since these are quite hardy warriors and have endured close to 8-10 hours of usage on a daily basis. Despite having no rubber parts, the material has a latent softness to it that keep them comfortable despite extended use.
The reason I'm knocking a star off is because my first pair started losing sound in the ... Read More:
I just wanted a simple plug to charge my Samsung MP3. Various types in shops looked really expensive for what was needed. This does the job and is easy to carry about. The only warning is, if you plug the MP3 directly into the base, you need sockets high enough away from the surface - so I can't get the combination into my kitchen wall sockets but fine everywhere else.

It takes a bit of cheek to charge even three quid for this. Using it to connect my PC to my LCD monitor produces a picture with the worst ghosting I've ever seen. Jiggling the cable about, switching off nearby appliances, offering sacrifices to Greek gods, none help.
The trouble is, every cable on the market seems to have at least one bad review attached to it, so it's hard to know which to buy. Whatever the answer, it isn't this.

Have been keeping an eye on these earphones for quite a while and finally bought them since the earphones coming with my iPod really tortured my ears and I couldn't endure any more. As long as I plugged these Sony earbuds, they gave the music that I've been listening a new style! Matching the price and the extension cable gives flexibility. The only thing is that the bass quality is a bit of a shame, could be better. But I accept this since they are only EARBUDS, what else could be demanded?

If you want a cheap, reliable set of DVD-Rs, and don't mind the fact that they don't have individual cases, then look no further. With this set you get 25 disks for, at the moment, 5 quid. Unlike disks from other manufacturers, these do not become corrupted halfway through the burning process, or fail on 97%. They are compatible with any burner, and play without problems. Each disk is almost 5Gb, meaning about 6 hours of film, or thousands of your best pictures can be stored. The recording process is quick, and the final product is exactly as you want it to be. The cakebox is easy to store, although i prefer individual cases which do take up more space in your house. Of course, you can buy sets with cases, but for those of you who don't mind, this ... These headphones really have to be heard to be believed. I cant believe the sound quality on such inexpensive phones. If you can live with the retro look these really are a must buy. They even come with a handy pouch to store them in when not in use.
Highly Recommend 5 Stars!
Perfect, does exactly what it says on the tin. It's well built, stylish, light, comes with a blue LED and costs peanuts, what more could you wish for?! I can't understand the low ratings this product has got from previous reviewers.
iStuff Companion Speakers
Good points: very, very small & light & have a neat little case if you like that kind of thing. No batteries or power is needed, which makes them very portable.
Bad points: poor quality sound and distortion at high volumes. The maximum volume is just enough to be heard in one room, but not if the room is full of people. Also the headphone jack lead is very short.
Portable Folding Speakers for Ipods & mp3 players - white = the same as you find on lots of websites.
Good points: maximum volume better than iStuff. Not too big.
Bad points: heavier than the others because of need for batteries. This is its greatest limitation, I think. Batteries only last about 6 - 8 hours and because you ... Read More:
