It does work but, in my unit, as soon as the LCD's backlight is turned off (automatically after 5 seconds) a horrible noise -interference, begins. In any event, even before the noise starts, loss of sound quality (from your mp3 player to your radio) is evident.
It is cheap because is a low quality product. Can't return because of high (£4) postage (clearly, this is where the seller makes a few quid).
Amazon should be a little more careful as to whom they allow in their marketplace.

These are great headphones - I bought them after doing some research online and am seriously glad that I chose these. They look great and they're really comfortable. Sound does leak a bit with these when you turn the volume up since they're open headphones, but according to what I read online you get a better sound with open headphones than you do with closed. I would definitely recommend these.

I purchased this pair of headphones a few months ago and was rather disappointed.

Downside:

1) To begin with, there is a perpetual hissing in the background that no matter where I place the transmitter, I cannot avoid - after all, I am limited by the length of the audio cable so it has to be within three meters of my amplifier which necessitates it being close to my tv, speakers, subs etc...

2) Hissing aside, I was rather disappointed with the sound quality which I would say is comparable to a 25-30 pound set of wired headphones.

Upside:

1) The range is rather impressive and the quality is pretty constant throughout.

you cant expect much from this product as it only has one purpose, and it does it, what more can you ask? slight buzzing noise but charges very quickly.
A good cheap buy.

Prompt delivery by K.K. Electronics so full marks there. As for the quality of the tapes, I think just the name Panasonic would suffice, wouldn't it? Now on to the value bit. I bought this pack of 10 mini dv tapes @ £7 plus £4.50 postage, that's £11.50 delivered, which works out £1.15 per tape, isn't that superb value? Rather than buying 3 or 4 packs (3 tapes in each pack) and paying £4.50 on postage for each, buy this. Also, if you use mini dv tapes of different makes in your camcorder then stay clear of Sony mini dv tapes because they use a wet-type lubricant whereas other mini dv manufacturers use dry-type. I personally have a Panny and only ever use Panny tapes in it.

Wow, plugged this in and had to turn down the volume and contrast from the previous settings. Well worth it!
