Brilliant little bit of merchandise when it works. Had it on my Vista system for a while now but soon experienced aerial problems. The core in the cable became no more. It receeded back into it's cable casing so I had to bodge it up. Software a bit tempermental; Send error report and all that. I would not buy it again.

I have had problems with LG VCRs in the past and gave them another chance with this.

Features on paper it looks good and it does indeed have DAB and play MP3 cds (one of the few around that does both these things). My issue is not with the technical specs but rather with design. For something supposedly portable (it has a carrying handle it must be intended to be portable) it has a number of flaws..

Batteries: it takes 8 C sized batteries, fair enough its a lot but I guess it needs them... BUT it also takes 4 AA batteries just to preserve the DAB memory and power its feeble clock.

Power lead: move the unit around much and the lead falls straight out the back at any provocation. Then when you grapple the unit ... Read More:

Bought one of these a year or so ago. Was fine with the existing kitchen stereo and external antenna. Then the remote control started acting up. Intermittently didn't register buttons pressed. Changed the battery in the remote but made no difference. Eventually the remote stopped working altogether. There is no way to operate the unit without the remote so it is now junk. Perhaps it always was.

Having had this micro system a month now, it still rocks my boat.Sound quality is perfect,even at high volumes it does not sound boomy.This baby rocks, i have hooked all my mp3 players to it with ease.Even hook my laptop to it to listen to my tunes, and the sound from my dvds are far better than the laptop tinny sound.Ripping is a breeze to use.It is awesome system for the price,it is in piano black and matches all my gadgets cool.LOVE IT.

I bought one of these as a 74th birthday present for my mum. She loves it. It is simple to use (as it only has 5 presets - no shift button) and the sound quality is excellent. If ever there was a product aimed at someone who doesn't want lots of bells and whistles (and there's a lot of them about), this is it.

I've had one of these for a while now and bought it after a demo in good audio store. It is capable of handling all music with some ability and can really rock when turned up! The basic tone is nearly neutral and benefits from a little treble and bass lift. It suits voice and acoustic material well - Rock and Jazz do well with a little bass lift. DAB reception is good. I can get all the major stations loud and clear. There are loads of station presets available on the excellent remote control. It has an input for your MP3 / iPod and a headphone socket. I bought it specifically as a kitchen system and its very narrow front-to-back footprint (about 6") means it takes-up little room against the wall. And it can be used as an 'alarm-clock' set to ... Ignore the other reviews!

Unless you want to stay awake all night looking at the time, this is an excellent radio alarm. The fact that the time display dims down doesn't bother me at all. The radio works well, is simple to use and wakes one pleasantly. What more can one ask? I thoroughly recommend it.

After searching around for a DAB bathroom radio for what seemed like a life time I finally plumped on this one. I had seen the Pure Oasis which a friend had, and was almost about to get one of those but was turned on to this one due to its size and frankly better looking design. The sound is perfect for such a radio and really I cant find any problems at all.
