Having had this micro system a month now, it still rocks my boat.Sound quality is perfect,even at high volumes it does not sound boomy.This baby rocks, i have hooked all my mp3 players to it with ease.Even hook my laptop to it to listen to my tunes, and the sound from my dvds are far better than the laptop tinny sound.Ripping is a breeze to use.It is awesome system for the price,it is in piano black and matches all my gadgets cool.LOVE IT.

As with our other Pure DAB radio (Pure One)the reception, sound quality and functions such as the ability to pause and pre-programme to record to SD card are fantastic.
Be warned however that the performance as a clock radio is likely to disappoint some. As others have stated the glow from the display, even on the lowest setting, still lights the room and we certainly couldn't sleep with this. The only option is to set the display so that is switches off completely on standby. Whilst this does the trick you are unable to see the time during the night without hitting the 'light up' button.
The other frustrating point is the noisy, 'clicky' buttons. Sounds picky I know, but this is a problem when you set the alarm while your partner ... Read More:

I bought this item slightly hesitant after reading some of the reviews, however I really like it, it's easy to set up (basically jut plug it in and everything is set except for the alarms and dab quick presets). The display i can see why people are saying it's a bit bright because it's LCD and bright depending ont he angle you view it, but it hasn't bothered me at all! Think this is a good buy and i'm finding myself listening to Radio more these days :o)

Brilliant little bit of merchandise when it works. Had it on my Vista system for a while now but soon experienced aerial problems. The core in the cable became no more. It receeded back into it's cable casing so I had to bodge it up. Software a bit tempermental; Send error report and all that. I would not buy it again.

Pure Legato CD-40, DAB/FM/CD/MP3 Micro System - Cherry

After owning a PURE EVOKE 2 (that is still v good) I went for the Legato for another room. It looks good however not all features work as described & those that did have gradually given up. From day 1 the unit was noisy, ran very hot & wouldn't play MP3 CDs. Now the DAB reception has disappeared (although a PURE EVOKE2 picks up an excellent DAB signal sitting next to it??) & the CD player won't play at all. It is now out of warranty & PURE have referred me to a 3rd party who tell me there is no fix for this product but can supply a factory refurb' for £80 with a 6 month gaurantee. Thanks but no thanks!

If I was aware of this track record before I bought it I would have bought a proper stereo for the money!

Revo - Blik WiFi - Contemporary WiFi Internet Radio - WHITE

When it is working the Blik internet radio is very good. The problem is that it looses the signal stream every 45 minutes or so and there is an interuption of about 2 minutes in what is being listened to. It often does not reboot and requires being switched off and then on again to reboot. Revo say it is not their fault but due to the signal stream from the broadcasters. Revo cannot explain why a laptop computer receiving the same stream, at the same time, from the same wireless LAN, running side by side, is not interupted. When this problem is resolved it will be good, until then stay with a computer.

Had it a month now and am really happy with it. I downloaded the upgrade that adds the electronic program guide to the DAB radio and really can't think of a better system for the money I paid.

It would have been nice to be able to record and play music to/from the USB slot but that's the only thing I can think to criticise it about. Highly reccommended.
