I was originally bought a pair of E3C's as a Christmas present in 2006. The sound quality is undeniably fantastic, and as a commuter the sound deadening is a godsend. The problem is that they don't last long. The first pair of E3C's lasted about 6 months, the second pair the same. By the time the last pair came along the E3C's had been replaced, so I got a pair of SE210's... which also lasted 6 months. Problems have ranged from the speakers stopping, to the cord breaking. Be very careful when you buy a pair.

If you think you know music because you have lots of it, forget it. These headphones really allow you to pick apart music like you would have never thought. I can hear sounds in my favourite tracks I couldn't even make out before.

To compare, Apple earphones which everyone uses have become irritating for me to use, because I know how limited the experience is to what it could be. I keep returning to the Grado headphones otherwise I feel dissatisfied, which seems like a negative point, but the quality of sound produced atom bombs the downside of not wanting to damage them by taking them on trips in a rucksack. These headphones have allowed me to develop my understanding of music so much further I can't believe it.

its the most brilliant set of headphones i've ever bought. they are pretty huge (DJ style headphones).

no matter what's the quality of audio output(mp3 player, pc etc) these headphones deliver the best sound quality. the sound quality is unbeatable. no matter what kind of music your listening it still performs well.

and for those who listen to hip-hop, RnB, and Rap, ur gonna love these headphones.

they are the coolest looking earphones i've ever seen or owned. however, it's not about looks, is it?

the sound isn't terrible but they aren't balanced either. i think the treble is too emphasized. they would be perfect to listening to audiobooks while flying overseas. musically i would choose Maximo V-mode or V-moda's (if you like your bass good and heavy).

plus 84 pounds is a bet hefty compared to maximo's price.

Just got these today. In a word, FANTASTIC. I bought them primarily because of the issues surrounding the volume cap imposed by the EU on the new iPod Classic. I found the volume pitifully poor and bought the Etymotics in an attempt to beef up the volume.
Having tried them this morning I can tell you that this has worked a treat. I had no problems fitting them into my ears...as a regular (i.e every night) wearer of ear plugs I found the foam tips to be the best. The much talked-about bass response was something I had no problems with and after road testing them for 5 mins I returned to my Sony MDR-EX71s for comparison. They were bassier but there is just NO comparison between the clarity of sound or the improved volume.

I bought this few days ago from bargainmemorycards and I was so excited to open the envelop but very disappointed from what I saw, It wasnt logic3 screen protector its different brand. NO ATIGLARE feature! amazon please check your traders if they sell the right item. booooooh!
