I have had 2 sets of these creative speakers which overall I think are great for the money. The sound is good both depth and loudness and they are super small size for travelling. BUT my only complaint is that both of my sets have blown their speakers (this second set after only 2 months). I do a lot of travelling and always have them wrapped in something soft, but both times the speakers have blown for no reason. (I do not play the music loud either as I am massage therapist!). They are fragile so watch out! Creative, if you read this - put a covering over them please!

I bought this cable to connect my PC to an external amp. I previously used a standard cable which I found satisfactory. I'm impressed by the difference in this upgrade after spending so little on it. Most connectors of this quality would easily set you back £30 in a hi-fi store.

A worthy upgrade!

I purchased these headphones today for travelling & using around the home, as shortly I will be flying UK to Australia for a holiday & needed something to help endure the journey. So I did some research on the internet, & found that the Sennheiser PXC 450 came out on top. Tried them out & 5 star quality perfect sound quality along with being solidly built. I connected Sennheiser PXC 450 headphones to my Sony NWZ-A818 to enjoy listening to Dire Straits Brothers in Arms in sheer perfection & tranquility, as well as Kevin B****Y Wilson as I enjoy a good old fashioned laugh as well. Sony MDRNC11 Open Noise Cancelling Headphones

I am not a bass fanatic, but the bass from these was weedy, even for me. The noise cancelling feature does absolutely nothing, as far as I can hear, apart from adding some background hiss. I suspect that the efficiency of these earphones probably depends mostly on how well they fit in your ear. I just about get the smallest size in and I wouldn't say they were comfortable. I've had a better listening experienced from headphones costing much less, and I haven't got any (apart from these), that cost more than ten quid.

I bought these headphones as a stop-gap solution when I forgot to bring my main pair on a trip with me. The sound quality is mediocre at best, the sleeves are too stiff and the fit is bad, the inline volume control feels lightweight and imprecise, and the overall build quality is low. If you want a decent pair of low-priced ear canal buds, try the infinitely superior Sennheiser CX300 which are only 17.99 on Amazon.

The sound quality is mediocre at best, the sleeves are too stiff and the fit is bad, the inline volume control feels lightweight and imprecise, and the overall build quality is low. If you want a decent pair of low-priced ear canal buds, try the infinitely superior Sennheiser CX300 which are only 17.99 on Amazon.

Lost count of the number of sets of earphones I have gone through. Lost, trod on or died due to a broken cable but never been that sad because the sound quality was usually not that good.

Well,having had the Ultimates Ears for a couple of weeks now I would be VERY sad if the same fate befell them because the quality is excellent. Like most here did quite a bit of dithering because they are quite expensive but guess what? They really are worth it!
