The sales blurb for this item says that it allows an Ipod to be controlled directly from car stereo controls.

It didn't work for me. Just made really unhealthy sounding noises in the tape deck.

In addition to this, the sound output was ridiculously low (even with volume turned up full).

Would definatley not recommend.

I had to return mine, as it didn't work at all using batteries and even using mains it was unreliable - sometimes cutting off for no reason.
I bought another (from a different supplier) and the same thing happened, so this one had to be returned too.
No way would I recommend this to anyone.
