Although the item works well with all types of disks it was advertised with having a Li-ion battery that provides 2.5 hours of running time when not connected to the mains/car 12volt supply.
This is not the case!
I am forced to return the item for a refund and will lose all the postage costs (£11 in total).
The seller (Qfonic) are being less than helpful over the refund.
Saying that, if you are not bother about the battery issue and want a player that can handle all types of disks including DIVX then give it a go.

I've had my Pet800 for nearly 4 months now and it seems all good so far, the playback quality is sharp with the mini LCD screen, the screens bigger then most portable DVD players, and its multi-region!
Battery life is good also for a portable player and u can plug it in2 a tv and use it like any other DVD player of need be.

All in all I cant yet fault it.

Looks like a good deal on paper, but not so good in practice! I was attracted by the screen size and picture quality and the picture is good. The the sound is pretty awful and charging the battery takes forever! Strangely, the battery life is just awful as well. Overall the unit looks visually pleasing, but it is flimsy.

It is very DVD sensitive and not keen to play DVD-R's. My unit arrived without a UK plug!

My advice is to save up a bit more money and stick to a make that you can trust!
