This player is so awesome, it should definitely be bought. It looks better in real life than in the photo and the lid is brushed aluminium which looks really cool. However when the battery is attached it gets significantly bigger as it is a seperate unit coming out of the back of the player. I don't find this too bad however as battery life is excellent.

Picture quality is great, and sound as good as can be expected with portable speakers. There are 2 headphone jacks so you can watch dvds with a friend, a useful feature. I had no problem with getting the bag as an earlier review suggests - in the box and included in the price was a travel bag and also a case to put over a car headrest so it can be watched from the back seat.

I got a Bush portable DVD player for Christmas and 3 Bushes later I decided to go for a different make. The Goodmans was £20 cheaper than the Bush and has lasted so much longer than any of them. It's great, I play DVDs through it onto the TV most of the time but it's really great on those long car journeys into Europe for my holidays! The anti shock is very good, it never seems to disturb the picture and there are two headphone sockets so you don't have to split the sound. Finally I love the fact that it came with a bag to mount it in the car. The Bush didn't come with one so I had to sit with it on my lap for hours and when I looked for one they cost about £30!

I saw all the reviews I have been using the Shinco for 7 months my child batters the player like one of her toys. Feeds the TFT scrren with chocolate and yoghurt. I cant recollect the nuber of times it has been dropped.

still i get crystal clear quality it playes anything u put inside (except probably a poppodum or chappati)

I am buying another one soon
