This is an amazing set of earphones - I've just upgrade from Shure SE210 (I know they are different leagues but I'll do some comparisons anyway) and I am absolutely STUNNED with the sound quality of the UE Triple-Fi 10 Pro!

Listening experience:
I confess I was looking to buy the Shure SE420 (after a very positive review in a Hi-Fi magazine) but after listening the Triple-Fi's for about 5 minutes I was convinced - what a soundstage and clarity all over the range - they sounded as good or better as my living room hi-fi. The first impact was on the bass - As I had my Ipod Classic (160Gb) with the equalizer in "Latin" (I don't like equalizers) as a correction for the *relatively poor* lower range of the SE210 (my review in Jan/08 ... When i first got these i thought they were great, sound was good they fitted my ear fine, but then the ear bits started to fall off, & there easy to lose. Then unexpectedly the sound just went all fuzzy for no reason. one minute they were fine the next there not working at all. Also for the price of these headphones i think its to high & would of expected more!!

Wow. These really do stay put. The in ear part is small enough to most people and the rubber buds are supplied in 3 sizes so even if you a freakish mutant like me you should be able to get a pretty good fit on both sides, which is nice.

The other star feature is how the cables go into the earhook part, so if you tug them they don't pull the phones straight out of your ears.

The sound is not the best, there isn't much in the way of bass - enough for indie / rock / country maybe, but for dance or urban styles you will very likely be disappointed. Additionally, if you don't get them in your ears far enough you get almost no bass at all and they do sound tinny and cheap. And use your mp3 player's "treble reducer" rather than "bass ... Had these headphones christmas '07, and have found them to be excellent. Use them with a Nokia N95, and after fiddling with the equalizer presets on the phone, I have to say the music quality is quite astonishing for a small, wireless set of headphones. Very clear with plenty of base. No background hiss. Very comfy, light weight and secure to wear (wear them at the gym - no problems). Battery life is good. Build quality good. Easy to use.

Downside. No separate charger (usb lead included for charging). No carrying case. (But these are minor gripes).

Great piece of kit!

After days of study and comparing different products, and reading reviews (other sites), i ordered this one from amazon, and my Sony MDR-AS20J Active Series Headphones just landed today. I decided to use it at office before taking it out to the gym and guess what it does not fit my ears. I think I have average size ears and they dont stay at one place even when I am working at my desk. Sound quality is excellent. And this would probably fit and work well for someone with big ears...
3 stars because sound quality is good and the product is good, but does not fit my purpose..
