I saw these online and fell in love with them. They go well with IPOD and the sound quality is good as well. Main thing is the cables can be retracted to the headphones and so it does not become tangled and messy. I just love it as it is easy to store as in the bag.

I purchased these as a replacement for the MDR-EX71 pair I bought about 2 years ago which, although still sounding great, are showing distinct signs of the cable wear that other users have mentioned. I seem to recall paying approx £27 for the '71s at the time, but loved them (and still do - but see my review of Sennheiser CX-300).
I actually ordered the E818LP model, but was given a 'free upgrade' to the E828LP (for good or ill) and at the price couldn't be bothered to go through the fuss of an exchange despite the reviews of the '818s being generally more favourable.
For the price, and without having them long, I think they are a good buy. The sound may not be quite as clear and sharp as that experienced with the ... Read More:

I really like the sound quality of Sennheiser and bought these headphones after my more expensive ones died, as an interum replacement.
I find that they are useless however due to their irregular oval shapped buds and size.
They continually fall out of my ears if I so much as turn my head and don't even feel right even if I stand completly still.
My ears may be small or something but I have never had this issue before.

Looking for headphones with lots of bass for the likes of dance/trance music ? Then pass.
If you are listener of acoustic sounds, classical music, live acoustic performances, strings etc, then this might be what you are looking for. Crystal clear sound is what you'll get, almost like being at the concert yourself... it sounded that clear to me.
Comparing the Ultimate Ears with my previous set of Sennheiser, which I bought from Currys, the Sennheiser had much more bass driven sounds which is more suited for hard dance/trance music.
I found the buds not to be suitable for my ears as it did not 'suck' into my ears and vacuum sealed. The set comes with a wide selection of bud sizes and fittings all in a very pleasing metal casing. ... Read More:

Wanted white earphones to use with white Zen Stone (like to be colour co-ordinated). Find it handy to have neck strap, then player isn't as likely to pull buds out of ears. These had received good reviews (except the 'tinny' one), but I realise that you have to use the right size of ear bud to get the best from them. I tried the small to start with, but the sound wasn't very good. Changed to medium and brilliant, I could hear bits of background music I'd never noticed before, loads of bass and very clear. I'm really pleased with them and thinking of ordering a black pair (to go with my black Zen Stone, obviously!!).
Do not listen to people by saying that this product is tacky it is not. The Picture looks good but the real thing is so much better. Also £17.99 may seem a lot of money, but it is absolutley worth it. The sound quality is so much better than all other headphones that if you connect it to your iPod or MP3 half the volume with Skullcandy' is the full volumwe with the original headphones that you get wih your original music player

I've had these headphones for almost three years now and I absolutely love them. Unfortunately the sound has now gone in the left ear, which was my fault for letting the kids borrow them, so they would have probably lasted longer.
At first I wasn't interested in the folding part of the headphones, but then I realised how easy it was to put them away in a bag, so that they were nice and safe until I needed them again.
I agree with another reviewer that they don't seem to fit on your head properly - when you first get them. It doesn't take long before they fit snugly.
The sound quality was excellent, absolutely the best I have ever experienced in any headphones. I used these almost every single day, and as I said, they lasted ... Read More:
All I can say to anyone thinking about buying headphones who doesn't want to spend a fortune but also wants good sound quality is; you can't go much better than these for value for money. My 14 year old son put them on without any music playing and his words were "wow I can't hear much at all..." so pretty good at cutting out background noise. I like a lot of Dance / trance type music with things like Podrunner & Rotation featuring heavily on my play lists and these headphones are just the job for this type of music. Good crisp base and if you apply the correct equaliser settings the full range of audio is nice and crisp too. Before buying these I was prepared to spend up to £80 on headphones but thanks to feedback from other buyers I've made an inspired purchase ... Read More:
