I wanted a standard digital clock radio with nice big back-lit display and a cassette player so I could listen to spoken word cassettes at night on earphones. This seemed to have all the bits I wanted with the added bonus of a CD player. However I find it very difficult to use. Lets start with tuning the radio. It has an auto scan feature to automatically put radio stations in to its memory. Unfortunately it only has 20 slots for FM stations. The result is that in a busy city like mine, it only got up to 93.5fm before it ran out of slots! Nor does it store the PS (Program Service) name, only the frequency.
