Bought one as a Christmas present for my husband. He is using it every day and finds it very easy to use. The radio has a nice design and is lightweight. Easy to operate and switch between DAB and FM. Will recomend.

The alarm is quite nice to look at, it's quite compact and is very easy to set up radio stations and alarms (2).

There are only 5 pre-sets for radio stations and although there are two alarms, as far as I can tell you can only have one radio alarm and one buzzer alarm.

There is a large button at the top of the alarm that has a double function: sleep button for alarm and dimmer switch for the backlight.

All in it's a nice little alarm. I would however, echo the previous comments that in the age of space tourism, cloning and quantum engineering that I'd expect a little bit more from an alarm. Especially when you can buy a freeview box/multi region dvd player for the same price.

I had expected that the speakers would have, maybe a max. of 20 -30 watts, but all I got was a measley 3 in each speaker! Really dissapoing! Line in and variety of docks work well though.

Hello. This is one of the best desktop wireless sets I have ever had. It really is great.

Firstly, the keyboard.

The keys are responsive, and are standard size, but not cramped. It is only 16" wide (40.5 cm). Which is about the same size as a 17" laptop. Also included is the laptop style arrow keys. Which is really great.

Secondly, the mouse.

Really is wireless, very responsive with the hand movements and the mouse buttons is well made and really responsive.

thirdly, the USB dongle.

About the same size as a USB memory stick, which is really well madeand blends in, it is only small! (This is actually smaller then my USB memoory stick.)

Sony SRF-M37L Personal Radio

Be careful ordering this radio on the Amazon site. You will find if you look that there are two Sony SRF M37 Personal radios advertised by Amazon, and they are in fact different!!?? I thought I had ordered the Sony SRF-M37 with 'long wave' radio, as recommended by John Friel, but this was NOT the radio I was supplied with. Instead, as M Van der Velde says in his review I got an AM/FM radio designed for the US market, presumably manufactured for when the US was due to convert to digital signals. This meant it included a 'TV' channel band, and a weather band, both of which actually appear to do nothing in the UK. Was great for a while and then one day decided to stop picking up ANY BBC stations at all. The main reason I bought it was for Radio 5Live and Radio 5Live Sports Extra. So without being able to get any BBC stations the radio is basically useless to me

As I travel a lot and like to listen to world service I was looking for a small portable radio, with a built in alarm clock but which also received short wave. Thats easier said than done as radios seem to have gone out of fashion and everyone seems to sell gadgets with too many features. This radio fitted my requirements perfectly, its lightweight, tiny, folds in 2 so is more resistant to falling on the floor, has a little snooze light so you can check the time in the dark and gets excellent short wave reception. You don't even have to change the time as you tell it the time zone and the time adujsts automatically.
