I thought this was an adequate radio, until I tried to replace the batteries. It sounds stupid, but they are just about impossible to get out, unless you have fingers shaped like toothpicks. I had to use a penknife to get out (and destroy) the batteries. Don't buy unless you like Rubik's cubes

This is a very good little piece of kit - does what it says, battery works 6 months easily and this is after using it for work for hours everyday!

Slight snag which I think everyone should be aware of - using a small mouse (rather than the full size one which one generally uses with a computer) can put a lot of strain on your write and can even make your forearm pain with prolonged use - however this is a choice you make and has no negative bearing on this product and hence 5 star rating on this one!

boxed weight 280g not the 454g advertised

This is a great product. The radio is clear and it is really easy to use. It also has the ability to switch between the radio and being a remote for the I-Pod on it which means that you do not have to use the I-Pod itself to change between the two. This is something I have not seen on any of the similar products I have looked at. It is also very reasonably priced compared to other products.

However, I bought my first one in January. Around June, one of the headphones kept switching of as there seemed to be a wire loose. I put this down to my abuse of the product (I used to squash the wires in an attempt to get the I-Pod to stand up so I could watch video at the gym) and bought another one.
