Hello, i recently bought this item after spending ages searching for something similar, eventually i chose this! It's brill looks nice sounds good and matching me new nano! it's comes with all different adapters so you can fit your ipod in snug no matter how old or new it is! And you even get the attachments for the tv so you can connect it up. The only downside is there is three settings for the light on the clock but the dimmist is still too bright but you can switch it off if needed but means you can't see the time if you wake in the night! But overall this item is fantastic and i would highly recommend to any lookers!

This is a great little radio! First it looks fantastic (every one who's seen it likes it), feels exteremly well made and most importantly sounds excellent. It is of course possible to buy the additional speaker for this if you want to get a stereo sound but personally I haven't bothered. The quality and volume of the sound as it is is excellent and one of the radio's key features is how neat it looks on it's own.
The radio can be powered by AC or a separately available rechargeable battery and can receive Digital or FM broadcasts. It also has a line in socket (for plugging an ipod/MP3 player into) and a line out socket for plugging into a hi-fi as well as a headphone socket. There's also more features on it than I had expected ... Read More:

This is a review about the 2008 version of the already popular bt2500.
I bought this from new image hifi who sent it quickly and well packed. The free gift was missing but they have promised to send one on.
The item comes with a harness ( one into two) one for the speakers and one for the power cables and an arial adaptor. I have an audi a2. Plug the exisiting inputs in and away you go. Blooth tooth works a treat ( both music streaming and phone calls/answer) and the stereo sounds great. One can control the phone re music and calling via the headunit. Even voice activation works.
Advantages over previous model i am aware of-1. this has pre-amp outs but i did not need these and one can attach a steering ... Read More:
This internet radio is all about simplicity and choice.
I purchased this radio from amazon, it was delvered within 2 days,
out of the box, and the radio was connected and receiving an almost unlimited choice of stations within 5 minutes.
Getting the media streaming from my computers media files took maybe another 5 to 10 minutes longer, but again this was very simple to do, although you really need to be running windows media player 11
to make it a doddle.
Sound quality is very good, depending on bit rates be received.
I am very happy with this radio and would reccomend it to anybody.

As an alarm clock it's basic. Buying something this cheap seems to mean that the radio is fiddly to tune and sound quality is 1970s telephone. Yes, it's cheap, but Sony's much vaunted build quality is definitely slipping. The first one we got had a very definite mains hum from the power supply. The second one was better but still audible and annoying. The third one was ok - but I was annoyed at having to exchange two before getting one that was satisfactory.
The display isn't the brightest and the controls are scattered all round the place with little logic. Some of the switches are rather hit and miss.
It's cheap but you take pot luck with the build quality.

I had made the mistake of incorporating internet radio functionality in the purchase of a Yamaha RX-V2700 home-cinema receiver. The software utilised in the Yamaha is v.Tuner. The user manual misrepresented v.Tuner's ability to stream WMA and WAV files in addition to its MP3 operability. Subsequently, favourite stations were delivered in poor bitrate levels, or were not available if not transmitted in MP3.
The purchase of the Squeezebox, however, rescued this dire situation. Favourite radio stations are delivered in the highest bit rate quality (and to my ears, at least, at near CD quality), and, more importantly, all the stations that I desire are available. Moreover, if you can source the broadcast stream address of the particular station, you ... Read More:

This product has the dimension and style of a biscuit tin, 'buzzers' that beep and an FM aerial that looks as if someone in the design department realised "Der crumbs Maisey, we forgot the FM aerial" just as the first batch was coming off the assembly line. Apart from that, it's fine.
As with other Sony items, the plastic casing feels solid and built to last. The sound is fine for a unit of this price with enough volume to reach the far side of a double bed :) The radio works well on FM but AM reception is hampered by the sheer number of radio stations elbowing each other for bandwidth. Consequently AM selectivity is not great. The FM aerial consists of a length of thin wire issuing from a hole at the rear of the unit which is why I think it was ... Read More:

I like the look and feel of this radio....but,
The first one I bought kept switching on at 4AM even though the alarms were either switched off or scheduled for later in the day.
I replaced the radio within a week and the second radio is doing the same - this time at 2AM!
I am returning the radio and choosing an alternative brand.
I have just received this as a present to ourselves for use on holiday, at home, away in hotels. And it seems just great. It feels very well made - robust and good quality but still compact enough. It is easy to use with a very good FM reception - better than our portable Sony. And the sound quality is really superb for the size of the radio.
The designer should be really pleased with themselves, and we look forward to years and years of no batteries, using the solar power, wind-up, and mains rechargable options as convenient. 5 stars plus!

I did my homework before plumping for this radio made by one of my fave companies.Very easy to use.Setting up took less than 5 minutes.I work shifts and being able to switch between 2 alarm times is very useful.Alarms are nice and loud and you can choose from 3 differant tunes,or wake to the radio. The radio seems adequate and covers the 3 bands, which is quite unusual for this type of radio, methinks. The display is bright and can be adjusted to 3 settings.Only downer is the lack of a backup battery,so pray for no power cuts at night!.All in all a very well made product.
