Given that these surge protectors are available at nominal cost and will protect your potentially valuable electronic equipment in the event of a power spike, these items are an obvious purchase for every household. There's not really a lot more to say, except that the build quality of the power strip seems to be high. My only issue I have found is that I sometimes have difficulty persuading my PC to boot when it is powered via the surgemaster. The problem seems to be the initial high power drawer of my NVIDIA 8800 GT graphics card. Therefore I sometimes have problems persuading my PC to boot, but since I don't reboot very often it is not really much of an issue. I'm really impressed with this scanner but, as a Mac user, was extremely disappointed by the software Canon supply with it - some seriously old editions of ArcSoft PhotoStudio and OmniPage SE, both of which are PowerPC editions. They are so old that the suppliers won't offer any support; upgrading to newer versions costs over £110. I got rid of my old HP scanner because their software support was so poor and now find myself in the same situation with Canon. It's a real shame, but this cheapens the product - beautifully made, but with ancient software.

I like the Cushtop product. Finally, there is a device to keep the heat of the laptop off your legs. It's works! The only drawback I have found with this product is the fact that the laptop slides down if you are working at an angle. I really wish the makers had added a non-slip surface. Anyone have any ideas about how to stop things from sliding around?

Full credit to Amazon. The first printer received was faulty (it seized up even before the installation of the ink cartridges)Immediate refund from Amazon. I ordered another one. Works perfectly and produces outstanding quality prints of digital photographs. Still to be considered is how long the ink cartridges last. Probably not long. This is where printer manufacturers make the most money. Irritations with this printer? Complicated wifi set up. Eventually cost me £40 to get it installed wirelessly by an IT company. Even more irritating the lack of facility to print in black ink only for a simple text document. Otherwise a nice looking, up market printer with many features that you will probably never use.

I am I suspect the same as many people, all I do is a bit of net surfing, and do the occasional letter or spreadsheet. I have had one of these for about 3 months now with no problems what so ever. The battery life is excellent 5-6 hours, and it starts really quickly. The internet runs fine, and I have no issues with the screen size, in fact I dont even notice it even though when at work I use a standard size 13 inch screen all day. It comes with basic word and excel loaded, so as long as you dont need to do anything over complex it is fine. I know the memory is small, but I have a USB Memory stick just in case, but also I dont really need to load anything onto this. It is perfect for taking around with you and using on the move.

A great little device that in my opinion is a better and cheaper alternative to the ipod Nano. Another advantage is that it doesn't tie you to itunes.

In MSC mode you can drag and drop your files just like a USB memory stick and works under Windows XP / Vista, Linux or MAC OS. That or use WINAMP or similar to sync to it.

It has expandable memory which fully integrates with the main memory if you run out of space.

Its styling and size are very similar to the Nano, but maybe not quite as stylish if that sort of thing bothers you. That said, the build quality feels good in the hand and the rubber mechanical wheel has a much nicer feel to it than a touch sensitive interface.

I also received my Hard-drive packed like a book! Slammed through my letterbox! I dread to think what sort of throwing about it had during its journey, as there wasn't even a 'Fragile with care' sticker on the box!
Lets face it this is not the way to send a hard-drive through the post - there was barely enough protection (a single layer of cardboard) to protect a book.
I have always been most impressed with Amazons SuperSaver Delivery packing in the past - but I shall not use it again!
How's my Hard-drive? Well it appears to be working OK - but who can say whether this has had an effect on the life of the item - only time will tell. BUYERS BEWARE!!

Firstly i would like to complement Amazon on a fantastic ordering system and delivery.
Then the product its self; The Logitech Z-2300 are 100% the best speakers i have ever owned (and i've had many.) From the high's to the low's, the sound is crisp and clear and for a review on the bass, well i don't think you can get better for your money. I would recommend these speakers to anyone who wants Laptop/PC speakers and even better for Films and Gaming.
I would also like to add that they are bigger than i thought, which in my case was a pleasant surprise but honestly, for Amazon's amazing price, these ARE the best speakers on the market for this price!
