Well I read the reviews about the A200 and was impressed by the concept of an mp3 player combined with an fm transmitter facility, so thought it would make a nice in car unit. So, I ordered one and when it arrived I got it out of its box and tried to load some content onto it. What a user unfriendly piece of kit it is! Read the manual (badly written/translated) but could't understand the initial error messages it came up with. Eventually managed to get it connected via USB to a pc, and downloaded a few wma tunes to the device. These sounded like they were being played underwater. I then copied a few mp3's onto the unit, but after plenty of fiddling with the tiny controls on the A200 I just couldn't find where on earth the files were, assuming ... Read More:

Well firstly I must point out that Amazon have incorrectly listed this item as only having 64mb of memory - In actual fact it has 256mb of memory.

The max recording times in LP mode is 130 hours & 25 minutes or 29 hours & 45 minutes in HQ mode. The voice recorder works perfectly and the desktop software supplied is more than up to the job.

You can convert voice recording to MP3 files at the touch of a button or automatically should wish to share the files with others which is a nice feature. The unit is also certified for use with Dragon Naturally Speaking, which is helpful.

FM Radio works very well, overall a nice set of features for the money, but the build quality isn't perfect, as the back ... Read More:

I got this little recorder yesterday direct from Amazon, and it's not bad. I've never used a dictaphone before in my life, so I've got nothing to compare it to, but I've got no real complaints so far.

I bought it because I needed a dictaphone for less than £30 - and fast. This was the cheapest one I could guarantee would arrive within 2 days. And so... tada!

It's easy to use. Just turn it on and hit record, basically. Everything is done in an instant, too - there are no delays with recording or deletion, so it's great for whipping out of your pocket and making a quick note on.

This is really marketed at those who want a dictaphone without tapes, and to be honest it's worth the extra cost. It's absolutely impossible ... Read More:
