I have just got the box set recently, and have been enjoying it greatly. Not just that, my three daughters aged 9, 6 and 2 are great fans, and want to listen to it all the time in the car. And the two-year-old even says 'Rock' once she hears the first few bars of 'We will rock you'. Just goes on to show that Queen truly made ageless music, which still scores far above most contemporary music.

this CD is really just another example of the music companies trying to fleece us the poor consumer. whilst the music of Billy Joel is superb in any format this best of is just a rehash of his Essential collection.

unless you have a burning desire to own Scenes from an Italian Resteraunt and Only the Good Die young then i would seriously recommend 'The Essential Billy Joel' 36 tracks in all and 16 of them which you get on this album.

Madonna scored some of the greatest songs in the 80's and many of them are placed on this compilation album...but these are remixed versions of the album versions.
this is the greatest compelation album ever made...just a shame not all of her successful singles are captured here(whos that girl,true blue,oh father,over and over,and keep it together)but all the songs here are stunning.

Vivere - Greatest Hits

I have this CD on constant repeat! The music is so varied but holds your attention every step of the way. Bocelli's voice is one you just have to fall in love with. His "Romanza" is 1 of my favourites but "Vivo Per Lei" has me hooked also. GET THIS CD!!!!!!

As per most of the other reviews of this CD it's a good compilation, for a ridiculously cheap price, however i really only bought this CD for "Solitary Man" and "Girl, you'll be a woman soon". Sadly both tracks are taken from the Live album "Hot August Night", though this is not indicated by the usual "(Live)" on the track listing. So be warned, if you want studio versions of these or "Kentucky woman" which is taken from the album "Gold-Live" look elsewhere.

I think that ZZ Top are a very good band and they remain one of my favorite bands of all-time. this is one great collection and they made great blues music in the 1970s and the 1980s. here are my comments about most of the songs. GIMME ALL YOUR LOVING this is a really great song and is my 2nd favorite song on the entire cd. SHARP DRESSED MAN this is pretty great too, but probably my 5th favorite. ROUGH BOY is a ballad that is too slow and too sad for me. TUSH is an excellent blues rocker remains one of my 5 favorites on this album. MY HEAD'S IN MISSISSPII is a blues rocker one of my favorites, PEARL NECKLACE not my fave, IM BAD IM NATHIONWIDE this is pretty good although remains as a 10th favorite or something. I had of course always been aware of the Beach boys, but being a 17 year old brit, they were never top of my 'to listen list'. However I saw a rhcp cover of I get around,liked it, and decided to buy a complation of beach boy songs to take on my summer holiday. Needless to say they are now one of my favourite bands up there with the Ramones and the Beatles.
This compliation, as an introduction, is really good. It has all of the biggest hits. However going back to it now after hearing the likes of Pet sounds, sunflower and all summer long, I cant help but feel that some of the best songs are missing. The likes of 'Wendy', 'All summer Long', and later masterpeices like 'forever' are nowhere to be seen. But as an introduction, this is really good.
