The powerball good idea as TOY, most people will use it will think this thing is amazing, But it is just a Toy the RSI element is just the company trying to sell more of them. What with the Powerball so logo so perdomiantly showing on the band around it if Flashing light is not enought for you.

Also it is bad if you drop it on a concrete floor. It going crack the led screen. Also trying to start it with out a string once you lost it behind the crouch it will give you blister when, I first tried to get it going without a string my fingers were raw and aching. Maybe that was just me being too hard.

This powerball is actually pretty cool, it does excercise your forearm and definately your hand to some extent although i remain skeptical as to it being able to excercise the bicep and pectoral muscles (as shown in the little minidisc that accompanies this powerball version), this along with some captains of crush grippers will definately help improve hand strength. I originally thought this was another gimmicky fitness thing of which there are so many... but i think i was wrong this time, its definately got its uses. For low-average strength people this powerball should suffice, for strong people they should look into the metal 350hz version. just to be aware people. i bought this for my dad for fathers day. but in the instructions it said not to use if you have a heart problem, so i was very dissapointed when he couldnt use it!! also it is very hard to get the gyro working.

I was surprised how strong and robust this stepper is when it arrived ! Just done my first work out on it and after just 10 mins i was shattered ! i consider myself quite a fit person but this certainly put me through it. I will post again after a month of usage

While there's a knack to getting the pump working (you need to seal the hole completely with your foot on the down stroke and then remove it to let air in on the up stroke - barefoot is best), once you've got it worked out this is a great spare bed.

I live in a small flat and this blows up quickly, is big enough to sleep on but light enough to move out of the way during the day and it is comfy enough for a few nights. I've had no complaints from guests and I've slept on it myself for a few nights (and I agree with putting a spare duvet or blanket on the top of the mattress for more warmth, but I'm a cold bod).

I'm not sure about the Omron as I walk a lot in my job. One day I took note of the reading on my gadget and actually counted the next 500 steps I did. The reading had gone up by 708 steps!! I've done it a couple more times too and it's done the same. How does that happen?
So I don't think it's quite as accurate as the manufacturers say, unless I've got a faulty one. So my advice is, don't rely too heavily on the Omron reading, it may just be telling you lies!

Raleigh 20" Girls Bike Sunbeam

I bought this bike for my 8 year old daughter largley due to the Raleigh name and pretty good reviews from other Amazon customers. The bike on the whole seems to be very good value for money, as a previous reviewer say's the brakes and gears are cheap but my real problem is the gear shift. It's very hard to operate for a grown up and completly impossible for a child. My local raleigh dealer recommends replacing this with a shimano shifter and I think this may solve the problem but I guess I would have expected a market leader to produce a bike for 8 year old girls that can be operated by 8 year old girls.The 1 star is a bit harsh but it balances some previous very generous reviews.

When I received this item I was excited to get it out of the box and to see what all the fuss was about. You can imagine my disappointment then when I couldn't get it working. Fortunately, as with most things, a little perseverence paid off and I finally got the gyroscope buzzing along.

I bought this to use as described to help protect against injuries such as RSI as I like to to many crafts that can cause my hands to ache and cramp. Having only used the powerball for a short while I can't say for certain how effective it will be to guard against this but the initial signs are promising.
