Flymo Garden Vac 2500 Turbo My house is surrounded by trees, a gravelled drive and slate surrounding the house. All garden vacs will struggle with wet leaves but this Flymo has been really good. It is not too heavy and has a body strap to help balance the weight. Using the blow function I BLOW the leaves down the gravel into a large pile and then either vacuum them up or load into the wheelie bin. The blowing function also dries the wet leaves on the slate to either blow or vacuum up. This garden vac saves me so much time and effort. We keep one in the boot of the car. It has proved to be very useful on many occasions, convenient to stow and easy to extend for use. The plastic wheels are not however up to the job, one collapsed when carying 2 x 25 kilo bags of shingle and I have not been able to find a replacement wheel.

In essence:
- Don't buy them if you want to use them in microwave. I used one of them to steam some rice in the microwave, despite the constant presence of water, the hot rice melted the container ..... the bottom of the container is now a solid mix of plastic and rice grains.
- Don't buy them if you want to store liquids. Despite the effective commercial where they put lots of money under water in one of their containers, they cannot hold even more dense liquids like oil or salsa.
- Don't buy them if you want them to stay closed. Lids will not lock after few times you use them.
I won't tell anything about the price (you can judge by yourself)...... in the end they are a WASTE of MONEY!

Hi there, after having a russell hobbs steam generator for a couple of years which gave up the ghost on me last week I had no option than to buy a new iron. I intially bought a breville ir 18 and took it back as the steam just bellowed out of it all the time and it was very dangerous.
I had looked at the tefals but thought they were quite expensive however after purchasing this one I genuinely believe you get what you pay for.
I got a really good deal actually in costco on this iron and paid considerably less than the other shops.

This is a waste of time. The things that screw into the back of the unit to steady it against the wall aren't long enough so you have to support the unit while you plug anything in. One of the sockets doesn't work and I think that it was a complete waste of quite a lot of money.
