Thomas & Friends Fuzzy-Felt

My 4 year old son is a huge Thomas fan, but only managed to play with this for 5 minutes when it was first opened. He owns and likes to play with other Fuzzy Felts, but the pieces are a huge disappointment in this set. The trains have no faces - you have to stick little white paper circles on - and the pieces are dull, unimaginative long 'track' kind of pieces. We were hoping for people, cranes, station-kind of shapes, but this is very boring. My son just doesn't play with it - what a shame.

Its classic Frustration with a Thomas theme (Frustration a good game and pop-o-matic versions great because you never lose the dice) but....on this one the little cards depicting the engines keep falling off....otherwise fine.

We love dominoes in this house. It's a good, fun, easy to learn family game. Our son picked it up in no time and he was only three years old. The domino pieces are nice and chunky cardboard (but don't let any babies suck them as they deteriote!) with bright pictures. Any Thomas fans will recognise the carriage characters immediately. Dominoes helps teach pattern recognition, turntaking, sharing, counting and so on. Highly recommended.
