A previous reviewer has got the maths wrong! The cassette doesn't only wrap 28 nappies it wraps about 100 nappies and lasts around 1 month. The bin holds about 28 nappies before it is full, but the wrap is tied off then restarted. Really the review should be about how well the product works rather than whether the reviewer can afford it! Personally we have found it invaluable. Certainly it is a luxury rather than an essential - but looking after a baby is hard work and anything which makes life easier is a welcome relief.

We thought this would be great for our very mobile baby. But she loathed being strapped into it, and would wiggle and scream until she writhed her way at least partly free. Also the plastic coating on the mat tore at one of the insertion points of the buckles. The velcro-on towelling mats stuck to themselves, and frayed badly in the wash.

So, if you have a placid baby who you just want to keep safe, give it a go. but it didn't work for us.

So, if you have a placid baby who you just want to keep safe, give it a go. but it didn't work for us.
