After reading the only review on this product I decided to buy it.
Very disappointed, the fan is so under powered that if the filter is fitted there is no air flow at all.
And if filter is removed you have to hold your hand with in a inch of the unite to feel any sort of air movement.
I consider it a waste of money and am looking for something better.

Bought this product last year. Worked well and silently for 4 months and then stopped working even though I used to clean it every week. Sent back to dealer and got a replacement.
The second unit worked for a month and then stopped producing mist. Well it does produce mist but mist does not come out of the ventilator. Referred the manual which says to return back the product :-).
Have spent on shipping it back twice which is very near to the actual cost of the product (£10 each time). Can't afford to test third one so asking for money back from the retailer as it is still under warranty.
Won't recommended to anybody

Philips Baby Care SCH580 - Ultrasonic Humidifier

We've had this product for over a year now and no complaints so far. It works really well and has helped our daughter sleep comfortably through the night when she has a cold or cough. Cleaning it is a bit tricky and it does scale up quickly but that's all I can think of as a negative. It'll probably break down next week after all this praise ;)

Great little product. Son suffered with coughing during night and found turning this on over night worked wonders. Like variable mist option as it didnt always need to be on full.
