Hornby Virgin Trains Pendolino - Digital Train Set

This is a good starter set for anyone looking to get in to Railway modelling or convert to DCC models.

I bought this after an absence of 16 years in Model railways and loved it, the Pendolinos tilt mechanisms good, and you can really see it on 2nd and 3rd radius curves.

I'd also recommend you buy the track extension packs that go along with it if you don't plan to model your own track.

This is a fantastic game which kept my daughter amused for the whole christmas holidays. It has so many different games on the one cartridge, much better than others I have bought.

I was given this as a leaving present, as a kind of joke, but my colleagues didn't realise I've always loved ants and really wanted one of these for ages! I wasn't disappointed. This is a well-designed product which provides hours of entertainment and fascination. I've seen all sorts of strange things going on in my Ant World: ants moving things around then back again like women designing a living room with furniture, a brutal murder when an ant I thought had escaped turned out to clearly be from outside (i.e. it was killed within minutes of entry), and interesting preferences for lunch: fruits not as popular as one might think, honey, other insects and even nuts proving popular on the menu. I remember when the first version of this game came out in this form when I was a lad and my mum being quite dismayed that a game she used to play with pencil and paper was now presented by little plastic boats and hit and miss pegs!

Nearly 30 years on from that event, my children and I are still getting plenty of enjoyment out of this game and I would heartily recommend this as a great addition to the games cupboard for the whole family.
