I bought this for Christmas for my daughter. She is 14 months old and can just about get the hang of putting the coins in the slot. I agree with previous post that this toy is probably too advanced for a 6 month old but it will be a well loved toy once baby is a bit older.

In my opinion this is an unsafe product. The weight of the unit above the baby is considerable, and it is held up only by pressure from a tightened plastic nut at the back. As such when this loosened (which is natual given its plastic nature and the fact they insist on two plastic washers which allow it to move) the whole until swung down onto the cot with a considerable force. Luckly my daughter was at the other end of the cot or she may have lost an eye. As for whether I tightened the nut enought - the nut was marked and damaged by the amount it was tightened just to hold it up. The main problem is that the head unit weighs a considerable amount (it contains a motor, lights, and a huge disk of water) and this produces a huge amount of force ... Read More:
