My son was given the Sit & Ride Aeroplane when he was two. He loved it then and still does now that he is three.

The toy is hardwearing - the paint, in lovely primary colours, does not chip or fade. The wheels are solid and can be run over tarmac or carpet. And as the aeroplane is wooden it's fairly heavy so keeps him fit too!

My son particularly likes this toy as it does not require batteries, just imagination. The propeller turns the flaps can be adjusted and my son pretends he is taking off, flying, landing and occasionally crashing in his own playroom.

My son's friends often come to play with the aeroplane and they enjoy pushing each other along on it pretending to fly off to the exotic places found ... Read More:

Postman Pat Post Box Trike

We ordered one of these for our sixteen month old a couple of weeks ago as he'd outgrown his little push-along. When it arrived there was a crack in the front mudguard so we contacted Amazon. 2 days later another one turned up and a few days after that the broken one was collected so top marks to Amazon for that.

As for the bike, it's excellent. The main chassis, handlebars and axel are steel. The seat and accessories are plastic. The only part I would have any qualms about would be the seat. The plastic doesn't seem fantastically sturdy and it is held on with just three bolts, but we shall see.

The parent handle on the back is good and our son absolutely loves it. All we need to do now is persuade him to start pedalling ... Read More:
