Roary the Racing Car - Talking Maxi

It's with regret that I write this warning, is I have purchased a Roary, Maxi and Drifter car (actually two Maxi's and Two Drifters to be precise) that's five cars in total purchased and every single one has had the same sequence of issues occur. First the engine sounds die after about a week of casual use - I've opened them up and discovered that the cogs shear inside (the remains of the cogs are plastered over the plastic casing) - clearly due to weak/cheap metal parts, then about a week after that the rear wheel snaps of the axel, if it were only one toy that did this I'd say it was just a bad one, but five! My son is begging me to purchase replacements again as he loves them but I can afford to keep doing this - I've reported the issue to ... Read More:

It's a lovely concept and the girls enjoy having the secret drawer and the included products. Downside is that it is actually quite a big and heavy item. Big enough for an adult to ride it back home after the school run! Its also quite noisy on the road. Maybe the wheel material should be altered.

Tent has a flimsy frame but when the tent is placed over it, this makes it rigid enough and my two children have been able to intensively use it (including throwing it around) without it coming apart. I think all these type of play tents are of this flimsy nature.

Notwithstanding the above, my children think the tent is wonderful, whether or not it is lightning mcqueen - aged 2 and 4, however, the nivelty value has not yet worn off.

Overall it is probably over priced - but isn't everything associated with Disney.

Radio Control Helicopter Bladez 3D

Ive had this little beast for a few months now and im still not bored of it! I think this toy has great control because i find that most indoor rc heli's dont really tend to go foward but this heli goes like a bullet in any direction, foward, backwards left and right. I have crashed this heli into many trees and it fell from about 15 meters and it still works as it did on the first day i got it. Only problem with this toy is that the battery life is a bit short because a 30-35 min charge gives you around 8 mins flying time but thats enough for me, gives me a break from chasing birds. Overall it is well worth its money, it's deffinatly top of its cheap rival rc helis.

I agree with the previous reviewer. These trains are not as well made or as durable as the ones which were made by Brio. I too am on the lookout for the few Thomas characters made by Brio we don't have.
