BRIO 33754 Wooden Railway System: Magnetic Bell Signal

We were very disapointed with this item - the bell ring is VERY quiet and the magnetic ringer only works with brio trucks that have large metal hubs on the wheels. If, like us, you have a hybrid set of Tesco/Thomas/Brio etc. you may find some problems with getting the bell to ring at all.

It's a good idea but just doesn't work well in practice.
we recommend a level crossing or collapsing bridge instead.

It is a great introduction to board games and rolling dice etc. There are 2 games - colours and shapes so educational and achievable for young ones. The basic concept is you add a spot or a shape depending on what is on the dice until you get a full dinosaur. We still play it on a very regular basis.

My daughter is 8 months old, I wasn't sure if this toy would be too big for her as the rec age is 1-5 years. However, she loves it and is able to open up all the gates and push the cockerel from side to side. The animals are just the right size for her chubby little hands to grasp hold of and despite her tugging at all the gates, they remain tightly fixed.

It is extremely well made, very sturdy and very entertaining with the sounds it makes. The best toy I've bought her since she's started to sit up. I can see that it will keep her entertained for years to come because as she gets older she will make up pretend games with it. Tomy Thomas & Friends Sit 'n' Ride

My eldest son was 2 when his Godmother bought him Thomas. He literally shook with excitement and used it constantly for months. Two younger sisters learnt to walk with thomas and use the box under the seat to store their precious cuddly toys. My youngest will be handed the torch in a few months and I expect a similar reaction to a toy that has stood the test of time.

Bedlam Cube - Retro

Its now almost a month since i started playing with this puzzle and as yet have not completed it. After seeing it on Dragons Den i was completely intrigued and being a fan of the old rubiks cube i thought this would be something I could master pretty quickly. How wrong could i be!

My first plan of attack was to carefully lift the puzzle out of the box and study it to see if i could memorise where some of the blocks had to go. This was fine until my 4 year old decided to 'help'. Since then i have tried all different ways but I always seem to be just one piece away from succes.

I would reccommend this puzzle to anyone who has a little patience .
