I gave this Bob the Builder "mobile phone" to my 2 year old nephew for Christmas and he loved it. It's pretty robust and of course Bob the Builder is a big favourite. He had lots of fun pressing the buttons to make noises and carrying his mobile just like his mum carries hers.

The phone has number buttons and also character buttons. Pressing any button makes the phone play sounds such as a character's catchphrase, or the number just pressed. I read that other people have had problem with this monior but we have used tomy monitors on all 3 of our kids and are currently using this one on our 7 month old and we have NEVER had problems. We have clear reception 24/7. It has the advantage of 2 settings, 1 you can have it turned on constantly or 2 where it will only come alive when your baby cries, it has multi volume levels and channels, as well as cry reacting lights and brilliant roaming range, we used that when our son was smaller and we had to nip out into the garden, no problems. In tomy we do trust and always will do, why pay stupid money when this does what you NEED and that is to hear your baby cry!

I bought this for my son's third birthday even though I thought he may be a bit young for it, as he was becoming very interested in our nintendo ds and wanting to use the computer. He is not gentle with it and yanks the game cartridges out and forces them in and taps the screen very hard with the pen and it's fine! This toy is great for rainy days and poorly days and if you just need half an hour of peace and quiet. It has shown me that my son CAN concentrate, pay attention and work through problems - I didn't know he had it in him!

LEAPSTER LEARNING GAME - GET PUZZLED

I just bought this game for my 5 year old daughter, however she could not even get to play it as her 7 year old brother was playing it constantly!! We are big fan's of leapster and have in total 9 different games in the family. This one though has been the biggest hit yet. There are various different puzzles to work though and every time you get it right you move to the next level. It is a good thought and memory provoking game as you have to consider how to build the bridge to get the little creature to the other side. Another game is to remember how the monster looks and then the monster is broken up and you have to put him back together.

If you only buy one leapster game BUY THIS ONE! It is by far the most popular in our family!!!
