This book is supposedly aimed at 6-36 months and whilst I think it is quite a good buy I really question this classification. My 18 months little girl is only now beginning to enjoy it; before this the fiddly need to press the "go" symbol on each page was a trial and meant she could not browse it successfully herself as she could ordinary books. Now she is patient enough (just about) to wait for me to press this before she can get going; it will still be quite a while before she can do this herself hence I think a classification of 18 months - 4 years more appropriate. Great potential for not for little ones; give them a book with flaps instead!

The first My Laptop I bought was faulty - only half of the keys worked, so I returned it and was given another. The second one worked initially and my 2.5 year old son had fun playing with it. There's quite a lot of different educational games so it kept my son interested for some time. When he was about 3.5 yrs old he started using the workbook and had renewed interest in the toy, then it stopped working properly. Everything worked except the selecter button on the mouse, which he found very frustrating. I nearly threw it away but my 1 year old daughter was really enjoying the woof woof sounds it makes when you turn it on. Recently I decided to open it up and see if it was obvious what was wrong and there was a loose wire inside attached ... Read More:
