This really is great fun. I got this for 'a friend who has everything' and he absolutely loved it - we then took it to the pub and had loads of people we didn't know wanting to join in and have a go themselves!
Dead easy to master and it has some excellent songs to play along to (my favourite is The Darkness - I believe in a Thing Called Love). Freestyle mode is cool too and allows you to play along to your favourite tunes at your own leisure although that will take a while to master.
Be warned...this is not just for kids!!!
If you want somewhere to keep the LeapPad and the books, what more would you want? You can get more than 4 books & cartridges in as each cartridge pocket will fit two cartridges. As it's smaller and more portable than the other case that holds 12 books, I am confident I made the right choice in choosing this bag over the other one.
This toy/game looked so attractive that I just had to open it and play with it as an early Christmas present to myself.
It's a simple concept (just like the old twenty questions guessing game), where you think of something - anything - and 20Q asks you a question to which you answer 'yes', 'no', 'sometimes' or 'don't know'. After you've answered 20 times he makes his guess, and wins it if is correct. If he's wrong he gets another 5 questions and guesses again.
20Q has a cheeky sense of humour, with comments in between the questions which suggests he's finding this too easy and will always win, and although this adds to the fun and entertainment value, he does actually get it wrong sometimes. But this is a golf ... Read More:

I love the IDEA of this but the unit arrived completely dead so have had to return it. However, the bus was made of sturdy plastic and was bright and fun looking - my toddler couldn't wait to play with it once she saw it. Forget the free book that comes with it though - its rubbish. A generic "leap's first day". Make sure you buy at least one proper seperate book when you order the bus otherwise it will be a bit disappointing. I have reordered it though...so fingers crossed.
I gave this Bob the Builder "mobile phone" to my 2 year old nephew for Christmas and he loved it. It's pretty robust and of course Bob the Builder is a big favourite. He had lots of fun pressing the buttons to make noises and carrying his mobile just like his mum carries hers.
The phone has number buttons and also character buttons. Pressing any button makes the phone play sounds such as a character's catchphrase, or the number just pressed. You can switch between different modes to vary the noises played for each button. One of the modes starts an interactive game, where the player has to press a sequence of buttons (eg, "Wendy 1 4 5"). If they make a mistake they can try again and when they get it right, they get another, slightly ... Read More:

My daughter (8) got password puppies for christmas.
We have at times struggled with the voice recognition, but you get more used to it over time. She wanted to call her puppy Millie, to register a name you have to say its name exactly the same twice and then again every time you turn it on. (a little frustrating, I didn't realise there were so many ways to say Millie) However the rest of the voice recognition is good and trying other names might be easier.
To make your puppy grow, you have to feed it 3 times, walk it twice and praise it 3 times in a day. Once you reach full grown there are no more limits to how often you can feed and walk your puppy which is much better for children. There are also games for your puppy, tricks to teach ... Read More:
