My daughter aged 7 has had Tamagotchi's in the past, they are more expensive and not as entertaining as the Princess Max. The Princess Max TX2 has a variety of games and comes with stylus. The games are interactive and some numerical so there is plenty of variety. This is a great item to take along in the car and on holiday since it is small and portable. The only problem with it is that the lid can easily snap since it is made of plastic. I would still recommend it as it is great for keeping young girls occupied.

I bought this as a present under the influence of previous reviews, and I have to admit I was disappointed. It often gets close to the answer whilst guessing correctly only about fifty percent of the time; for example: police car rather than ambulance, seed instead of nut, vodka rather than wine. Still pretty impressive, but if we went head to head, I'd favour myself over Mr 20Q.

We got this on a deal with Amazon for under £8 an at that price it's been a steal. The babies are cute and fit easily into Dora's 'sling' for holding them; the spoons and food bowl are chunky; Dora has a soft body and hair, sings and says phrases - delightful. She doesn't get played with endlessly - the concept is perhaps too limiting for really imaginative play - but for children who love Dora and have been entranced with the idea of her having a baby brother and sister, this is a great toy.
