I was given this as a gift as I have always wanted one but could not convince myself to spend the kind of money it was priced at. That was a couple of years ago now and it has come out to play no more than twice. what a disappointment. As previous reviews state, the roboraptor does not run, but wobbles, and even if it does get a purchase it doesnt seem to move that far. The instructions were not really any help and I have only seemed to get it to work in demo mode most of the time. My daughter played with it for an hour and then got fedup. she complained that it didnt seem to follow the light from the handset as it states it should. The only good bits are the sensors in the mouth, chin and tail. It also has great sound effects and it is quite ... Read More:

This set is brilliant fun - let's get that out of the way now! Remember those trips to laserquest when you were little? Well, it's just like that, but now you've got a real incentive to use cover.

I have a friend with one of those modern laser sets that occasionally beeps when you score a hit, and people sort of walk around the room with those, slightly bored and not really caring if they get hit or not.

This is all rather different. The shocks aren't particularly strong, but they're enough to give you a good reason to shoot the other guy before he zaps you. Well the deck isnt all that good, it doesnt even contain that many elemntal heros, but it can be improved with boosters, the main card isnt all that good either elemental blade edge. He cant fuse to make any better monster and he isnt really that powerful, his effect is ok. Though it does contain some ok lv4 monsters like luster dragon and elemntal hero clayman. Luster has the high attack 1900 which is good for a lv4 monster and clayman has good defense 2000. so its has its ups.
If your starting duelling and want to start with a deck i reccomend machine revolt or dinosaurs rage. Dinosaurs rage offers great offense and defense and the ability to get high attack monsters on the field. And also a few tricks for late in game.
