The inverter for the lights is very loud so I tend to leave it off.

Like the other two reviewers mentioned, you have to be very exact on the key presses and the response from the keys is very poor resulting in the need to type firmly. Typing quickly does not come easily with this device!

I bought this item on behalf of my 7 year old son who wanted to spend his birthday money. He first saw something similar in an Argos catelogue for £5 less but I checked the Amazon reviews and spotted that these candy grabbers are not all the same. What looks like the same model in Argos had a bad Amazon review, claiming the strings get all tied up. The one review on this one seemed much better, but cost more money. I explained all this to my son who chose to spend a bit more on a better grabber.

He is delighted with it! He puts wrapped toffees in it and has a great time putting his tokens in and trying for a toffee. Never has he taken so long to get through a bag of sweets! No hint of a tangled string, it works like a dream. ... Read More:
