I havent played a board game since I was in my teens. I got this game as an impulse purchase from a store nearby selling them cheap after christmas. It remained unopened for months until one day I decided to give it a go.

Whilst playing this game I laughed until my face ached, it is the funniest game I have ever played. Part of the game requires you to manipulate Bendy Bob and your team mate has to guess the phrase or action. If anyone plays this game and doesnt laugh they must have had too much botox.

I have still got this game from when they first came out years ago .And i am glad that they are remaking them, as i was able to buy my niece one for her birthday. she really enjoys playing, and at the age of six learnt the rules real quick .would recommend it to others, it is an easy game to play for all ages.

Family Fortunes Deluxe Edition

I got this one to play with my family at xmas, and some friends bought the electronic one. We used both over new year; this one's much better (the screen on the electronic one isn't great and slows down the game a lot). This one has cards to read out, so unlike the electronic one, if someone gives a 'nearly right' answer you can give them the points (just like Vernon would!). The 'deluxe' element is a buzzer to make that all-important wrong answer noise, which is the only electric bit you need, really.

Scene It? - The DVD Game - James Bond

I do not know about Bond and therefore found the game frustratng and too much Bond, Bond, Bond - unlike regular "SceneIt" where I can answer the questions. Not the games fault, but mine for buying it.

So a great fun game for families & friends, but you do need to know the basics about Bond and the various Bond films/theme songs etc to realy enjoy it (as you would expect from a themed product).

Bond buffs will love it, but otherwise get the regular SceneIt for the spread of questions.

As avid players of number Rummikub we discovered the Word version. While waiting to acquire a Word Rummikub game we used the letters from a Scrabble set which led us to score using the Scrabble value for each letter. Thus the highest scoring word is not neeccessarily the longest. We have found this more fun. I have written the value of the letter on the bottom of the tiles in indelible pen.
We have played with a theme where every word has to relate to the chosen theme. This is harder than it would seem. Try it, it's totally adictive. Make up your own variations.

Safari Rush Hour Jungle Escape Game

Often games masquerading as educational can leave you disappointed. Either they aren't very educational or they are just too difficult or frustrating and are abandoned before any educational benefit can be rendered. I have no regrets with this game though and I am happy to say it exceeded all expectations...

Fun AND educational - how does that work? You're potentially a few short clicks away from finding out... go on, you know you want to..

Highly recommended.
