This doll is very pretty and appealing to little girls, the idea of the winged Barbie is excellent but I feel not enough research went into the durability and play factor of the doll, the wings constantly fall off which frustrates my Daughter (and myself as I have to constantly re-attatch the wings), they don't close easy and still the wings fall off...For the amount of money I paid I expected a higher quality product from such a succesful company like Mattel.

My (then)three and a half year old was given this doll for Christmas last year. It is one of them most worthwhile presents she has ever had - she plays with "Sarah" virtually every day in all sorts of made up scenarios. Yes, agreed with the other reviews who say the mechanism is a little noisy but that is absolutely the only down side. I think the doll has a really sweet little face and like the fact she has hair (can stand bald dolls - both my kids were born with a headful of hair, perhaps that has something to do with it!!)- in fact, I find myself covering her up if my daughter has left her lying around on a night time - yes, I know I need to get out more. I just bought this for my 3 year old daughter and she loves it (I've seen her kiss it when she's finished with it before putting it away!). It's a beautiful doll and the fact that it plays 2 songs is a lovely bonus. The only things that bother me are that her shoes don't stay on and the peacock feathers/fan thing comes off too easily but other than that, it's a must for any little girly girl like mine!
