Pit will soon get everyone shouting and laughing. My family have played it for years and visitors often ask for a repeat game when they next visit. If you like a fun family game and don't mind letting your hair down this is for you.

Pit is based on the stock market of olden days. The bull and bear are in there amongst the comodities (of which their are 6)of wheat (100 points), barley(80 points), oats (60 points), corn (50 points) etc. To win (or corner the market) you have to collect all 8 cards of one commodity. Bedlam Cube - Retro

Its now almost a month since i started playing with this puzzle and as yet have not completed it. After seeing it on Dragons Den i was completely intrigued and being a fan of the old rubiks cube i thought this would be something I could master pretty quickly. How wrong could i be!

My first plan of attack was to carefully lift the puzzle out of the box and study it to see if i could memorise where some of the blocks had to go. This was fine until my 4 year old decided to 'help'. Since then i have tried all different ways but I always seem to be just one piece away from succes.

I would reccommend this puzzle to anyone who has a little patience .

My son is barely 5 and has been struggling putting sounds together to make words. we have only had this game less than a week and he can read and spell so much better. He guesses at unknown words that he would normally not even attempt. He has even gone up a level in his school reading books, this has given him some much needed confidence. We have 14 leapster titles and this is definitely one of the best.

I am a reception teacher (ages 4-5) and the children in my class LOVE this game! The element of surprise when they turn the cards over to reveal the bones is brilliant! I shall be buying lots more orchard toys for my class!

I bought this game for myself for Christmas as I really enjoy making my brain work a bit with maths, words and puzzles etc. but was rather hesitant to spend over £100 on a Nintendo platform and individual game. That is probably where the comparison ends as I have only seen the Nintendo version once before.

This is a nice sized hand-held electronic set of 5 different games or tests for your brain to work on. The unit itself feels nice and solid and is very ergonomic - comfortable in the hand with the buttons in the right places although the keypad buttons could be a little small for some fingers.

Rubik's 4 x 4 Revenge Cube

I started cubing at christmas when i was presented with my first 3x3x3 cube. I was determined to master the thing. Eventually i was able to do it and i'm working hard to get a quick time.
I decided to go for a little harder challenge and so the 4x4x4 was the obvious next step. It was a challenge but knowledge from the 3x3x3 one makes it easier to pick up strategies and techniques. Once you master this the 3x3x3 seems so much more simple. This is deffinutly a good buy for people wanting more then a 3x3x3. But if your just starting out go for the 3x3x3 as you deffinutly need it to understand this one.
5x5x5 here i come!!!
