Mmmmm.... well described as a massive playset which I would disagree with straight away. OK it's a reasonable size but not MASSIVE. For one thing you can't really fit all the figures into it and need to buy the very small play figures.

The play figure it comes with too is very small. I think it's also a bit of a cop-out to give you loads of stickers to stick all over the truck as when you see the pics it looks quite impressive until you realise that the interior design is nothing more than some stickers you have to put on yourself. My ds was a bit disappointed with that. It does have a pleasant look to it though.

Bought this for my son who is nearly 3yrs old. He has most of the Fireman Sam collection, including dvd's, toys etc;

He loves this vehicle which has three character phrases, flashing lights and realistic siren sound. The Tom figure and vehicle are very durable and well worth the money.

No complaints from us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Take Along Thomas & Friends - Sodor Mining Co. Electronic Playset

My son is 4 and has lots of Take Along sets and he loves them. The sets all join up together to make the Island of Sodor. You can buy extra track, bridges and tunnels etc. The track did change last year but there are adapters that you get in the new sets to join them up so don't worry that they won't fit together - they will. For a compete Thomas addict like my son these are the perfect toy!

I was nearly as excited as my 2 year old when this arrived - what a great looking toy with easy mechanicals even for younger kids. I/we are now tempted by so many others in the range but would need a bigger house to cope!
