If it wasn't for the fact my little girl loves the teletubby characters that come with this toy, I would have sent this back within 5 minutes of it being in the bath. It sinks almost immediately. This is unsurprising as there are two slit holes either side of the base which just let the water flood in. Crazy!

We also bought another bath toy at the same time which has no holes and of course doesn't sink! What a surprise!

Now this island is just in the way and annoys me everytime I see it!!

Classic Pop-Up Toy

i was enthusiastic about this toy based on the reviews, however I was disappointed when I received it. The pegs sit on a metal base to make them bounce and some of the metal seems to come off onto the bottom of the peg. That means i'm unhappy leaving the toy with my baby unless i'm watching as i don't want him to put the pegs in his mouth. That means that this toy isn't used as much as i'd hoped.

I'm currently 7 months pregnant and after fighting with cushions, pillows, a V-pillow etc I eventually stuck this on my Wishlist and my husband bought me it for one of my birthday presents in the hope of us both getting a better night's sleep!

As with the 2 reviews above I've found that the bit to go between the legs isn't quite long enough (I'm 5'7" so not tiny, but not a giant either), it's also a bit skinny and not quite padded enough for my liking although I've found it to be more comfortable than any of the other options I'd tried. The advert says that you don't need to turn it around to sleep on the other side, but if I do lie on my right the bit for the legs only comes about as far as my knees so is pretty useless.

Sassy 103 - Musical Bobbing Sprites

'Musical' is definitely a stretch...
but fun, they undoubtedly are.
As others have mentioned the squeaker is quite hard for little ones to manage but the rattles in the other two sprites are fine. The colours are attractive and they superseded my 6 month-old's other bath toys on the first outing. They stand up well to tugging and chewing... but if splashing is a problem beware - he's not stopped since he got these.

OUR 5 MONTH OLD SON WAS BOUGHT TAD FOR CHRISTMAS AND HE LOVES TO LAY AND WATCH THE SHAPES LIGHT UP WHEN HE IS GOING TO SLEEP AND THE SOOTHING MUSIC IS PLAYING HIS ELDER BROTHER AND SISTER ALSO SEEM TO ENJOY IT !

This doll has a rattle and a teathing toy attatched. I bought one for my neice at 4 months and one for my friends girl at 12 months. both love it. much better value then ones bouth from mother care elc........ it is reasuring that the packaging clearly displays the safety checks and standards

Fridge Phonics

My daughters are 3 and know most of the letters of the alphabet but not all. They are showing a real interest in learning to read and so I thought this might be an easy way of helping them to learn the rest of the letters. Although the picture shows the letters as upper case, when it arrived it had the lower case letters, which was actually what I would have preferred (the product advertised with lower case couldn't be delivered to Germany). I think this toy will help them learn their letters but I have a couple of reservations: 1) it does both the name and sound of the letters, which I think is a bit confusing, especially as some letters have 2 sounds. 2) It is sometimes a bit difficult to make out the sound properly so that some sounds are similar. ... Lamaze - Puppytunes

This is a great toy one of the few things that stops my 3mth old from crying. She loves the sounds, colours, textures and taste!!! The song book is great fun I only wish there were more tunes to learn.

Nice toy, not wildly exciting but is ok to take out on the pram. My son gets bored with it after a while - probably suitable for a 4 to 6 month old only

Science Museum - Cosmic Rocket

This product is really good and very simple to do, however make sure you launch, and more importantly, land onto grass. Our first attempt was off concrete and was great until it landed back onto the concrete. Although there were no obvious breaks, the landing damaged the rocket and now the mixture leaks out of the bottom and it doesn't work anymore. As with the other review, we have purchased another as it is definately worth another go!
