Khet - The Laser Game

The concept of Khet is a brilliant strategy game uising lasers. You really need to know your angles of reflection to enjoy this. The fact that there are add on features to the basic pack (which is great in itself) incluing the extra Pillar make this an enduring masterpiece. It is fun and very easy to understand and pick up, may take a while to master and no two games should be the same.

However, sadly it is rather let down by the quality of its manufacture. When using mirrors to reflect a beam of light around a board (some pieces even split the light for more fun); you need to be pretty accurate in both quality of the pieces and materials used. It is brilliant, I also cant have pets and it has kept my uni housemates amused! when 2 get together its so funny to see the moving/dancing and singing...I bought one after my 4 year old sister got one for her birthday, they are for all ages!

I was dubious about buying this for my "train mad" 5 year old who was begging for it for Christmas but it has proved to be a huge hit with both him and his three year old brother. I am also a Registered Childminder and everyone ranging from 2 years to 6 - both girls and boys have enjoyed playing with it.

It is bright and sturdy (and not too loud and annoying). They are all having loads of fun and learning the time and numbers at the same time.

Dora the Explorer Interactive Skittles

I was very disappointed by this toy. Although packaging stated the Skittles are interactive, only one skittle is interactive. Packaging also stated batteries were included, no batteries were included. The skittles themselves lead the consumer to believe that each skittle require 3 batteries in each as all 6 skittles have ON/OFF switches and allowances for batteries. I found this product to be very confusing!.

Maybe, the packaging could be clearer to the consumer.

Overall the item is hardwearing and durable.
