Lego kick off their 2008 releases from The Clone Wars movie with the amazing AT-TE Walker. These were also seen in Attack Of The Clones but this kit has been updated from the original #4482 AT-TE from 2003 with better construction, nicer detailing and a more accurate colour scheme. This is a great version of the All Terrain Tactical Enforcer and it comes loaded with features.
The cockpit opens at the front and the control seat slides out like the previous kit. The legs have been refined and the front and aft legs can move up and down easily - the middle legs swing through. The front four cannons rotate 360 degrees as well as across. My son enjoyed patiently building this model over 4 days at Christmas but found that every time he wanted to play with the model it fell apart as its base is not strong enough to support the model and the engines stick out below the base so they fall off every time it is put down. Finally after months of frustration we contacted Lego who supplied some extra bricks to try and stabilise the base (a known problem obviously) but that didn't work so we returned it. A great model for adults but simply not suitable for playing with - don't waste the money for kids.

small and sturdy enough for you to rebuild quickly(and also the ideal choice to encouage you child to follow the plans and make it themselves, as there are few pieces and instant results.

Lego continue their 30th anniversary releases with this fantastic Jedi Starfighter with detachable hyperdrive ring.
Based on the previous releases of Anakin Skywalker's Starfighter and the two from the Ultimate Space Battle set, the blue Jedi Starfighter has the same design with a few improvements built in. The cockpit assembly is sturdier than the previous issues and the hull has special adaptors to allow it to connect to the hyperdrive ring. Because of this, other Jedi Starfighters cannot dock with the ring which is a shame.
The ring itself measures a full 28cm across and has six engines and two missiles which can be launched with a flick of the finger. The ring itself is a little fiddly to assemble, relying on small Technic parts in the ... Read More:
