Dora the Explorer - Big Sister Dora

We got this on a deal with Amazon for under £8 an at that price it's been a steal. The babies are cute and fit easily into Dora's 'sling' for holding them; the spoons and food bowl are chunky; Dora has a soft body and hair, sings and says phrases - delightful. She doesn't get played with endlessly - the concept is perhaps too limiting for really imaginative play - but for children who love Dora and have been entranced with the idea of her having a baby brother and sister, this is a great toy.

I go this for a present for a friend's baby he was the same age as my son (6months)
I loved it so much, I gave my son the toy and got her something else!

My son is now 15 months, and still loves it.

You have 2 settings, one plays just the music, and the other sings.
Whenever you roll, throw, turn or kick the block, it plays the tune to what side of the block is facing up.

I can't believe how much use it has had!

New Jumbo Touch Sensitive Musical Keyboard Play Mat

I was pleasantly surprised when this toy arrived. It was larger than I expected and made of heavy wipe-clean plastic so there will be no problem with stains and dirt.

There is a demo mode so that children can listen to a tune, only one tune but for the price you cannot really expect more. There are several different instruments sounds. There is a record button so that the little ones can record the sounds they are making and then play them back. They can either use their hands or walk on it.

I must confess to having quite a go on it myself (do we ever grow up?). As for durability I cannot really say. My Grandson will not be getting it until his birthday. I know it will get a lot of use but have yet to see how ... Read More:
