VTech Bob the Builder - Bob's Mobile Phone

I gave this Bob the Builder "mobile phone" to my 2 year old nephew for Christmas and he loved it. It's pretty robust and of course Bob the Builder is a big favourite. He had lots of fun pressing the buttons to make noises and carrying his mobile just like his mum carries hers.

The phone has number buttons and also character buttons. Pressing any button makes the phone play sounds such as a character's catchphrase, or the number just pressed. I read that other people have had problem with this monior but we have used tomy monitors on all 3 of our kids and are currently using this one on our 7 month old and we have NEVER had problems. We have clear reception 24/7. It has the advantage of 2 settings, 1 you can have it turned on constantly or 2 where it will only come alive when your baby cries, it has multi volume levels and channels, as well as cry reacting lights and brilliant roaming range, we used that when our son was smaller and we had to nip out into the garden, no problems. In tomy we do trust and always will do, why pay stupid money when this does what you NEED and that is to hear your baby cry!

Fisher-Price Link-a-doos - Infant to Toddler Rocker

I bought this chair for my daughter who is 5 months old. I didn't like it as the chair position wasn't that great for her now she's trying to sit up a bit more. In addition, I wouldn't leave an older baby in the chair without putting the stabiliser on as it could very easily tip over. The seat could also be a little more cushioned as it only has a plywood under the cover of the seat. Great idea for it to turn to a toddler chair later but pity the cushioning wasn't a bit better along with more positions for reclining/sitting up. Sent it straight back as I wasn't happy with it!!

I ordered this after reading the other reviews on amazon because I was looking for a chair for my very young baby. It was perfect because the shape of the chair provides support and is more laid back than many others. My baby is now 15 weeks old and I don't know what I would do without this. It is definately the best £25 I have ever spent. It's basic, but extremely lightweight and portable, and was easy to assemble. Good for helping baby sleep also. I haven't really used the vibration much, I just find myself constantly rocking it with my foot. I would highly recommend this and it is great value for money!

My daughter loved it from the very start. She still insisted on having her morning bottle in it at 18 months!!!!!!!!! Our son also loved it. Super buy!

Our twin babies LOVE this gizmo. The sights and sounds combine to create a magical atmosphere that even I still find mesmeric 7 months on. Another reviewer said it kept there child awake and whilst this may be slightly true for us too it's because our twins love the spectacle but guaranteed within 10 minutes they are both out like a light.
The battery life is pretty decent I think for such a multi-tasking toy and will usually last 3 weeks on a set of batteries with nightly use. At this point I usually use a battery tester to check the life left as you usually don't have to throw all four batteries away.
I (and my well rested babies) couldn't recommend this dream machine enough.
