Lamaze - Balancing Bug Stacker

I bought this toy as i was looking for something a bit different from the whoozit type soft toys for my 8 month old. It has not disappointed. The 6 bugs are all brightly coloured with various legs, wings etc for little ones to grab hold of. They each contain a magnet which not only enables them to stick together in a totem pole effect but also produces a not too loud rattle in each one. They are neither too heavy nor too big for the littlest hands to pick up and they will love knocking down the towers that you have carefully constructed as well as banging pairs together and ultimately building their own towers, naming the bugs, learning colours etc. My only, very small criticism is that i assume one of the bugs to be a spider but it only ... VTech Grow and Go Ride On

I am writing this review as my son has had this now for 12 months and it is still something he plays with every day. He moved from rocker to ride quite quickly but he is quite large for his age. He has learnt alot of words from this and I would highly recommend it.

We bought one of these classic toys for our 7 year old. It was great for a couple of weeks until the vertical movement jammed. We sent off for a new one from the suppliers but it never arrived. Took three follow up phone calls and an extremely irate fax to get any response from the suppliers who finally supplied a new one nine months after the first one broke!

The quality of new models is not as good as the ones I remember when I was a kid. The plastic is not as strong and is more brittle. It can be cracked if dropped. The mechanism is not as good either. The knobs are more difficult to hold because they're smaller (not just because I'm older!) and are not as smooth in use.

I Love Ponies Mobile Pony Care

Bought this for my 9 year old daughter as a Christmas present. She loves it but I don't.
Along the lines of Animal Hospital, I Love Ponies is great for little girly girls.
Best feature: The magic colour change "hurts" that appear and disappear on the ponies when wiped with hot or cold cloths.
Worst feature: Lots of small pieces and several only made of cardboard ensuring they won't last more than 5 minutes.

Wonderworld Wooden Peek A Boo Ball

I bought this toy for my 10 month old son based on the other reviews. Maybe I didn't read the description properly regarding size - but I was stunned when it arrived! It was so small it was delivered through the letter box - in its packaging!
The little heads are so loose they only stick out when upside down - so my son finds no pleasure and pushing them in or pulling them out .... its kept him quiet for approx 30 seconds before he moved on to something else. My set of pans are more entertaining for him!

I waste of money I think - sorry!

Lamaze - Peek-A-Boo Surprise Cube

My 3 month old daughter shows more and more interest in this. She is fascinated by it. She seems to like a lot of the Lamaze products. Her other favourite Lamaze toy is the Peacock.
My friend has a six month old son who also seems to like it. I would definitely recommend this.
