Take Along Thomas - Switch and Cross Track Pack

Please note, these are switches (points to UK readers) in a new style track that is not compatible with the older (2005) Take along Thomas sets like the engine shed. The new style track packs and playsets like the water tower come with adapters to allow them to be joined but only 2 per pack. As this Switch set has numerous pieces, it will be of limited use until the manufacturer brings out additional track packs in the new style! The older additional track packs and play sets will not work with these bits.

Bob the Builder Friction Scrambler & Trailer & Bob

This seemed like a great toy, but unfortunately my nimble-fingered 3-year old gets furious with the fact Bob won't sit properly on the quad bike and that the trailer keeps detaching itself. There are 2 major design flaws inherent - the manufacturers need to work on Bob's grip mechanism and also with the trailer's hook - it is way too floppy and fiddly for many an adult, let alone a little one! My boy has ended up attaching a different ELC trailer and putting Bob in the back of it lying down, telling me he is tired after lots of building. I regularly have to intervene when he is playing with it to reduce frustration levels and would definitely not recommend it to potential buyers. It's nothing like the quality of the rest of the gang! Tomy Thomas & Friends - Build 'n' Go Thomas

This toy is fantastic. Your young mechanic can unscrew the screws using a screw driver (clicks when tension reached), dismantle the toy and then put it back together again. Flick the switch and and off chugs Thomas. My son is so proud when he's done it and it's definately been money well spent. The design is brill to - the screws don't completely come out so you don't loose them!

VTech Light-Up Rhyme Gym

As exactly described other reviewers my daughter (just a month old) too was really in love with this product. VTech stuff are usually great, and this specific gym is out of ordinary. My kid loves to look at this and makes sounds and tries to kick and interact with it. (Of course her shots are not aimed and strong enough yet to make rapid responses from the gym, but still the way it changes its melodies and voices kid keeps bounded onto it) Lovely item and I will recommend to anyone with little ones!

I was disappointed with this product. The "blocks" are actually cardboard cubes with one open side allowing them to be stacked one inside another. The fact that they are cardboard is not mentioned anywhere in the item description, despite them being advertised in the baby section - they are not suitable for a small child who would immediately put them in their mouth.
