My girl is 3yrs old and got her Brio train set for Christmas together with Thomas and Molly. The highlight however is this tunnel! All the other kids that visit (as well as my girl) just love it. Can't see the educational value really - just great fun!

Playmobil 3647 Family Camper

I bought this for my little boy for his 4th birthday recently and we all love it! It's our first playmobil item and I was a little skeptical that it could be worth £30 but it has earned every penny of it in the first 2 months alone.
There is stacks of stuff included in it and as ever with playmobil some of it is extremely tiny. I have a 18 month old as well and I do have to watch that none of it goes in her mouth.
The top comes off so they can play with them inside and the attention to detail is amazing - tiny little holder for mobile phone, pull out shower and tap - cute little toilet. We also bought the beach set which has been great too and my son can spend ages driving them for a day at the beach, getting the little picnic ... Read More:

Read the reviews - thought 'great' and bought one. Tried it on my chair at home (old style rounded back) and it did not fit securely. Have since tried it on other straight back chairs and it does fit extremely well and is very handy to take anywhere. Would recommend it - just be careful of round back chairs.
