I was looking for a scooter for my son and this caught my eye. It's not quite your usual mini scooter. For one it has large blue wheels, the wheels are much larger than on mini scooters so it's much easier for my son to go over cracks in the pavement etc.

It's got flashing blue lights!!! He's young so he loves them - you need batteries so make sure you get some AAs in stock.

The handle has two positions, high and much higher. The low position is a bit of a stretch for him, but he manages and the high position will ensure that this is a toy that can be used for years to come.

The scooter is also very easy to fold up and put away so you don't really need to worry about storage space.

I'm using this 3klw heater in conjunction with the Intex filter pump to heat my spa. It works very well, water temperature is raised by 5 degrees an hour and easily reaches 96 degrees water temp, for comfortable hot tub/spa use. A word of warning though, this is not a toy and safety is built into this heater, it comes with heavy duty power lead plus RDC plug fitted. This heater will not run safely on an extention lead. So thought needs to given as to how the unit will get power before purchase. Also there is no thermostatic control, therefore cannot be left unattended for long periods.

Like the other reviews I agree that this is great fun and educational for the younger minds (and older ones too!!!) but the footpump supplied with the rocket is utter useless - it broke for me on the second depression; Do yourself a favour and buy your own pump to avoid disappointment

Henry's aluminium diabolo handsticks

These aluminium sticks get bent after a while, but they are great value, and their best trick is a grind, as the natural tendency of aluminium is to have little friction against the axle of a diabolo, be it metal or plastic. Carbon fibre sticks are more recomended than these, as they give a better springy whip than aluminium, and are more durable against being bent. Love doing the diabolo with any sticks!
