My six year old son has astounded me with this game. Not only can he beat me hands down at it, he has memorised all the info contained in the cards.
This simple little game has fired up his imagination and play is often interupted by questions on weight, height etc as well as the expected history and dinosaur queries. He has played this game so often, the cards have become a little dog-eared (to the point where he can recognise my cards from the bends and marks and chose a category that he knows he can trump me with!) So in the interest of fair play, I am buying him a new set.

My daughter is 9 months and has had the giraffe for about a month. She stands up using it no problem and immediately stops crying and turns to it if I start playing with it and she is upset. We had no problems at all and all her cousins (1yr to 4yrs) love playing with it too.

This is a great toy, whoever designed it must have done it through the eyes of a child. The detail is impressive and so is the functionality. I think it offered great value for money and I think its great!

My boyfriend was bought this as a present when he changed career to train as a doctor. We thought it was a pretty funny joke gift but that was all - didn't expect it would be fun to actually play as adults. How wrong we were! It was brought out one evening over Christmas (after we'd had a few sherries!) and proved to be hilarious. Try keeping your hand still after you've had a few and you'll see what I mean! It brought out the competitive nature of some of the guys in the room too, who couldn't help getting frustrated with their inability to use tweezers (women have an advantage here!) and mocking each other for repeatedly setting off the buzzer. Well we have not had the problem others seem to mention regarding butterflies getting stuck. We have played this many times with our 1 & 3 year olds. They love it, yes it's over quickly but at least our 1year old can join in and we make putting the butterflies back into another game. We race to collect as many as possible or count the colours etc.. We play different games too on the main game, eg collect any colour or each player collect a specific colour.

They love it, yes it's over quickly but at least our 1year old can join in and we make putting the butterflies back into another game. an action figure of the 5th doctor who as played by peter davison on tv. standing roughly six inches tall it is an excellent likeness, right down to all the detail on his costume.
